On November 2, 1999, a horrific act of workplace violence shook Honolulu, Hawaii. Ronald Kawamae, 54, was one of seven employees tragically killed at the Xerox building on Nimitz Highway. The perpetrator, Byran Uyesugi, a service technician at the company, opened fire on his co-workers with a Glock 17 handgun.
