Do you know who murdered Theodoro Javinar? Theodoro Javinar, a 51-year-old Asian / Pacific Islander man, was found unresponsive on the walkway in front of his apartment at 1015 North School Street in Honolulu on May 15, 1989. He was rushed to the hospital, but he later died. 
At first, the scene could be mistaken for a tragic accident—something as simple and senseless as a fall in the wrong place at the wrong time. Investigators initially believed that was what had happened.
But as they looked closer, the story shifted: the injuries were not consistent with an accidental tumble, and the case was treated as an assault that turned fatal.
