On November 10, 1999, 45-year-old Efnet Alfred Haro was discovered critically injured near the Kuhio Park Terrace Family Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. He had suffered severe head injuries and was found unconscious in a parking lot around 2:30 a.m. Despite being rushed to Queen's Hospital, Haro passed away later that day.
