On November 2, 1999, Peter Mark, a 46-year-old Xerox service technician, was fatally shot at his workplace in Honolulu, Hawaii. The perpetrator, Byran Koji Uyesugi, a colleague of Mark's, opened fire inside the Xerox building, killing six other employees and wounding one.
Uyesugi used a Glock 17 semi-automatic pistol in the attack, firing a total of 28 shots. He fled the scene in a company van but was later apprehended by police following a five-hour standoff near the Hawaii Nature Cent
