Death by Force

On September 2, 1999, 41-year-old Hahn Soo Kim, a taxi driver, was found shot to death in his cab at Kailua Beach Park in Honolulu, Hawaii. His brown 1984 Buick LeSabre station wagon was still running with the lights on when police arrived around 2:52 a.m. The motive appeared to be robbery, as Kim was last seen picking up a fare earlier that morning. He had just completed a pickup near Waikiki and may have been directed by his assailants to the park, where he was shot in the head.
