Glen Gaspar, a 40-year-old Honolulu police officer, was shot and killed on March 4, 2003, during an attempted arrest at a Baskin-Robbins ice cream store in the Kapolei Shopping Center. Officer Gaspar and his partner were part of a team of plainclothes officers conducting a stakeout for a suspect wanted in connection with a prior shooting incident.
