Daniel Browne-Sanchez, a 27-year-old off-duty sheriff's deputy, tragically lost his life on February 10, 2007, while attempting to stop an armed robbery in Honolulu, Hawaii.
The incident unfolded when a masked assailant entered a local restaurant, fired shots, and forced employees into a back room. Browne-Sanchez, who was unarmed, courageously tried to subdue the robber but was fatally shot.
