On April 16, 1994, 51-year-old David L. Walden was shot and killed in a parking lot near Pier 24 on North Nimitz Highway in Honolulu, Hawaii. Walden was an executive for Star Suites Inc., a Kansas City-based company that leased vehicles to film and television productions in Hawaii.
