In the early hours of August 28, 2007, a violent intrusion shattered the quiet of a Denver, Colorado apartment. Preston Rodney Jenkins, a 26-year-old Black / African American male, was at home with his roommate when two individuals forced their way into the residence at approximately 12:15 A.M.
