In the heart of downtown Denver, a life was tragically cut short in a brazen act of violence that has remained a mystery for decades. On October 5, 1993, Wesley Cummins, a 24-year-old Hispanic man, was riding as a passenger in a friend's car. As they waited at a stoplight at the intersection of 15th and Lawrence Streets, another vehicle pulled alongside them. In an instant, the night was shattered by the sound of multiple gunshots.
