In the early moments of November 5th, 1975, Andrew Summers was returning to his home at 2635 Monroe Street in Denver, Colorado, a residence situated just north of the City Park Municipal Golf Course. A 35-year-old Black male, Summers was a veteran of the United States Army and the proprietor of a local drinking establishment known as Max's Tavern. His life, however, was cut short that night.
