On a cold winter day in 1984, the body of Charles Hailey, a white male, was discovered near the intersection of 56th Street and Tower Road in Denver, Colorado. It was February 23rd, and the cause of his death was immediately apparent; he had been fatally shot. The Denver Police Department launched a homicide investigation into the violent death that had taken place in the quiet, outlying area of the city.
