In the quiet moments of an east Denver evening, tragedy irrevocably altered the course of a young man's life, leaving a family and community to grapple with a sudden and violent loss. On April 6, 2024, Elijajuan Guyton, a 23-year-old male, was found with a gunshot wound in the 2100 block of North High Street, just west of City Park.
