On a summer evening in Denver, Colorado, 50-year-old John Field was attending a family gathering on his block near 1st and Broadway. While walking his dog on July 9, 2016, a dark Chevy Camaro sped by, coming dangerously close to his pet. In a moment of anger, Field threw a beer bottle at the vehicle, striking it.
