On May 12, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred in the 8800 block of East Colfax Avenue in Denver, Colorado, resulting in the death of 26-year-old Benhur Mesfin. The incident took place early Sunday morning, and Denver Police were notified and responded to the scene.
