In the early morning hours of March 29, 2024, a violent encounter in Denver's Ruby Hill neighborhood tragically ended the life of 35-year-old Luis Gomez Reyes, a Hispanic/Latino male. The incident unfolded just before 7 a.m. in the 1600 block of South Federal Boulevard. When police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Gomez Reyes suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
