In the afternoon hours of a Tuesday in Denver, Colorado, the vibrant life of 34-year-old Travis Kimbrough-Sanders was tragically cut short. On September 22, 2015, at a gas station and car wash in the Five Points neighborhood, a burst of gunfire erupted, forever altering the lives of three individuals. Kimbrough-Sanders, a male, was struck by the hail of bullets, sustaining a fatal gunshot wound.
