On December 14, 1985, 23-year-old Trent Pierce was found injured near West Bayaud Avenue and South Clay Street in Denver, Colorado. Initially believed to be a victim of an auto-pedestrian accident, he was promptly transported to a local hospital. During medical assessment, it was discovered that Pierce had sustained gunshot wounds. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.
