In the early morning hours of February 4, 1979, a large fight erupted in the parking lot of Los Pancho's Restaurant and Lounge in northwest Denver. Amid the chaos, several gunshots were fired. When the altercation subsided, 27-year-old David Moreno, a Hispanic male, was found dead, and another man was injured but survived.
