In the early morning hours of June 20, 2021, a Juneteenth celebration in an Aurora, Colorado shopping mall parking lot turned into a scene of chaos and violence, leaving 27-year-old Renys Arias, a male from Denver, dead. The festivities, which had drawn a large crowd, were abruptly shattered around 4:19 a.m. when gunfire erupted.
