In the pre-dawn hours of Wednesday, October 18, 2023, a shooting shattered the quiet of a southeast Denver apartment complex, claiming the life of 21-year-old Winston Marquez-Morales. The young man, a male, was in the parking lot of the complex located at 3327 South Parker Road when he was struck by gunfire at approximately 2:50 a.m.
