Death by Force

On July 13, 1997, a tragic incident occurred in Denver, Colorado, resulting in the death of 17-year-old Kerby R. Acosta. Kerby was standing with friends outside a location at 4500 Mariposa Street when a vehicle drove by with several individuals inside. During this encounter, one of the suspects in the vehicle fired a shotgun at the group of friends, and Kerby was struck by the gunfire. He died at the scene due to the injuries sustained from the shotgun blast.
