In a case that stretched over several months, the life of 52-year-old Clint Burtts came to a tragic end in what has been described as a 'slow-motion murder'. The events leading to his death began on the afternoon of September 18, 2013, near the intersection of Speer Boulevard and Stout Street in Denver, Colorado. On that day, Burtts was the victim of a violent assault that left him with serious injuries requiring hospitalization.
For nearly seven months, Burtts battled the injuries he
sustained in the attack. His fight for life, however, concluded on April 10, 2014, when he succumbed to the complications from the assault.
