His family last saw him on Sunday, March 25, 2007. In the pre-dawn hours of the following day, at approximately 4 a.m., Hernandez-Galaviz was seen in the company of an unidentified woman. The two were in his vehicle, parked in the vicinity of 33rd Street and Lawrence Avenue. This would be the last time he was seen alive.
