Carlos R. Luna, a 23-year-old resident of Denver, Colorado, met a tragic end on May 21, 1992. Born on April 24, 1969, Carlos had a tumultuous early life, marked by significant health issues. He was born weighing only three and a half pounds and later underwent open-heart surgery at the age of two and a half to repair two holes in his heart.
