On June 4, 2016, Derrius Woods, a 27-year-old, lost his life to gun violence in Denver, Colorado, as part of a triple homicide incident in the Park Hill neighborhood. The incident occurred at a residence located at 3622 East 36th Avenue, near Hudson Street.
