Timothy Ed Smith, 23, male, Black, was inside his car on the 2500 block of Washington Street in Denver on the night of December 19, 1992, when gunfire shattered the quiet around him. Unknown assailants opened fire as he sat in the vehicle, striking him and leaving the scene before anyone could give a name or a face to the violence. He was rushed to a local hospital, but the wounds proved fatal that same day.
