Do you know who murdered Daniel Trujillo? In the spring of 1999, a night out in Denver ended in tragedy for Daniel Trujillo, a 23-year-old white male. On April 25th, Trujillo was at Veronica's Bases Loaded Bar, located near the intersection of Speer and Federal Boulevard. A fight that began inside the establishment escalated and spilled out into the street.
During the chaotic disturbance outside the bar, Daniel Trujillo was stabbed by an unknown assailant.
He was gravely wounded and though he was rushed to a local hospital for medical attention, he did not survive his injuries. The Denver Police Department launched a homicide investigation into his death.
Despite their efforts, the person or persons responsible for Daniel Trujillo's murder have never been identified, and no arrests have been made in the case. His death is now considered a cold case, one of many that the Denver Police Department continues to seek information on. The case remains unsolved, and authorities still encourage anyone with information to come forward.
