A man is murdered during a botched robbery attempt
On November 8, 2016, Charles Polzin, a 49-year-old man from Loveland, Colorado, was killed during a planned marijuana sale in Denver. Polzin, along with his son and his son’s girlfriend, had traveled to Denver to meet with Joshua Binns, who had conspired with several others to rob them. During the transaction, Binns shot both Polzin and his son, resulting in Polzin's death and serious injuries to his son.
