On August 15, 2015, 61-year-old Jose Frias-Olivas was found shot to death at Harvard Gulch Park near West Vassar Avenue and South Federal Boulevard in Denver, Colorado. He was discovered around 10:00 a.m., and the circumstances of the shooting remain unclear. Frias-Olivas had been visiting family in Denver at the time of the incident, and investigators believe he was targeted while out for a walk in the park that morning.
