In the early morning hours of New Year's Eve in 2014, the body of 33-year-old Toshio Gilmore, a Black male, was discovered in a chilling scene in Denver, Colorado. He was found deceased on a couch that had been placed outside the Renaissance at Lowry Boulevard apartments, located at 550 Alton Way. The initial discovery was made around 5:00 a.m. by a passerby who called for a welfare check on a man who appeared to be unconscious.
