Shawntez James Jucar Kinney, a 22-year-old resident of Denver, Colorado, met his untimely death on April 21, 2017. The incident occurred in the 5300 block of West Evans Avenue, where Kinney was found shot to death around 8 p.m..

The shooting took place outside the Evans Discount Liquor store. According to reports, Kinney was identified as the victim in this fatal incident. The investigation into his death led authorities to look for suspects involved in the shooting.
