On April 27, 1985, 30-year-old Gregory Allen was working as a clerk at the Sky Line Liquor Store, located on the 2800 block of Colorado Boulevard in Denver, Colorado. During his shift, two suspects entered the store with the intent to commit robbery. Tragically, during the course of the robbery, one of the suspects shot and killed Mr. Allen.
