In the early hours of February 10, 2025, Jonathan Linares Gulesserian, a 29-year-old Latino man, was found fatally shot in the driver's seat of his silver Toyota Rav 4. The discovery was made around 1:33 a.m. in the parking lot of the Player's Club, an adult entertainment venue located at 6710 Federal Boulevard in Adams County. Emergency medical personnel were dispatched to the scene, but Gulesserian was pronounced dead from a gunshot wound.
Known to his loved ones as a loyal and caring
individual, Jonathan was a business owner and a long-time security professional who was deeply committed to the well-being of his employees. He was a beloved son, brother, and uncle who cherished spending time with his family and friends. Gulesserian had a passion for life, enjoying motorcycle rides, exploring new restaurants, and traveling. His favorite holiday was the Fourth of July, a time he celebrated with great enthusiasm. He dreamed of starting his own family and building a life filled with love and happiness.
The investigation into Gulesserian's death was swift. Detectives from the Adams County Sheriff's Office reviewed security footage from the Player's Club which captured an altercation between Gulesserian and another man moments before the fatal shooting. Through this evidence and numerous interviews, investigators identified 35-year-old Bruno Hernandez as the suspect.
Authorities located Hernandez's vehicle at a residence in Fort Lupton, Colorado. With the coordinated efforts of the Weld County SWAT team, the Fort Lupton Police Department, and the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force, Bruno Hernandez was taken into custody at his home without incident. He was subsequently charged with first-degree murder and possession of a weapon by a previous offender in connection with the death of Jonathan Linares Gulesserian.
