On a tragic Wednesday afternoon in Denver's Green Valley Ranch neighborhood, Calvin Fenner Jr., a 43-year-old male, lost his life in a senseless act of violence. The events of April 16, 2025, unfolded around 3:30 p.m. near the intersection of East 38th Avenue and North Odessa Street, beginning with a dispute between two women. This initial altercation would quickly and fatally escalate, drawing Fenner into a situation that would ultimately cost him his life.
Fenner was behind the wheel
of a vehicle, accompanied by a female passenger and two children. It's reported that an argument between the female passenger in Fenner's car and another woman instigated the tragic chain of events. Following this confrontation, two individuals pursued the vehicle Fenner was driving. Shots were fired into the car, striking Fenner and causing a crash.
