Sedric Jerome Gillespie, a 23-year-old male, met a tragic end on October 10, 1999, in a residential neighborhood of northeast Denver, Colorado. The incident occurred when Gillespie was inside his vehicle, which was parked in the 2200 block of Olive Street. During this time, another vehicle pulled up next to Gillespie's car, and multiple shots were fired into his vehicle by unknown suspect(s) from the secondary vehicle. Gillespie was struck by the gunfire and unfortunately died at the scene.
