In the early evening of July 1, 2015, a burst of violence shattered the tranquility of a Denver park, claiming the life of Harry McCabe, a 25-year-old male. McCabe was sitting alone in Asbury & Tejon Park, near the intersection of West Asbury Avenue and South Tejon Street, at approximately 5:45 p.m. when the incident occurred. An unknown assailant fired at him, inflicting a fatal gunshot wound to the torso.
Following the shooting, McCabe was rushed to Denver Health in critical condition.
