Deonta McDonald, a 19-year-old man, was tragically shot and killed on October 12, 2016, in Denver, Colorado. The shooting took place at approximately 1:00 AM in the 1300 block of South Birch Street, where officers responding to the scene found McDonald suffering from a gunshot wound near the doorway of an apartment building. He was transported to Denver Health Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.
