Danzel D. Atkins, a 31-year-old father of four and a U.S. Army veteran, traveled to Denver from Houston, where he ran his own small electrician business. He arrived in Denver on August 16, 2023, and expressed his excitement about his vacation on Facebook at 8:43 p.m.
