In the early morning hours of January 17, 2021, the life of 31-year-old Frank Gouland was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire. The fatal incident unfolded in front of an apartment complex near Southeast 143rd Avenue and Division Street in Portland, Oregon. Gouland was not the only victim that day; his brother-in-law, Adam Kekoa Adams, who was 28, was also killed in the shooting.

The page highlighted that Frank's sister, Julisa Gouland Adams, was the wife of Adam Kekoa Adams, and was left to care for their three young children. The family had ties to Micronesia, where Frank and Julisa's parents had previously lived. The investigation into the double homicide remains ongoing, and as of the latest available reports, no arrests have been made in connection with the killings. Portland Homicide Detectives have appealed to the public for any information regarding the incident.
