Any updates on this case?
On April 27, 2024, Indianapolis police responded to a report of a person shot in the 4300 block of Hovenweep Way, an area near East 42nd Street and North German Church Road on the city's east side. The incident occurred around 1 a.m. When officers arrived, they found 50-year-old Shanica Mills suffering from gunshot wounds inside her residence. Despite immediate medical attention, Mills was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical personnel.
