On November 9, 1992, 25-year-old John Johnson was shot and killed in Portland, Oregon, during a robbery. At around 6:20 p.m., three gunmen entered a house at 853 N. Prescott Street, under the pretense of purchasing drugs. The situation escalated when the gunmen demanded money from those inside the house, including Johnson, who was reportedly selling marijuana at the time.
