On August 11, 2015, at approximately 4:15 a.m., Hartford police officers patrolling the area near Lenox Street, between Albany Avenue and Greenfield Street, responded to the sound of multiple gunshots. Upon arrival, they discovered two victims in front of 39 Lenox Street: William C. "Bill" King, a 40-year-old Hartford resident, and Jennifer Ryan, a 40-year-old woman from Coventry.
