On June 26, 2016, at approximately 7:30 a.m., West Hartford police responded to reports of gunshots at a residence on Jackson Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found a woman outside the home with three children; she had sustained a gunshot wound to her left forearm. Inside the residence, they discovered Michael Fuller, 32, with a critical gunshot wound to the right side of his head, and another child who was unharmed.
