On a Sunday in Hartford, Connecticut, the life of 55-year-old Tyrone Mercer was tragically cut short. On December 17, 2017, Mercer was discovered outside an apartment complex, the victim of a fatal shooting. He had sustained a gunshot wound to the chest, and despite the gravity of the situation, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
