On July 15, 2015, at approximately 3 a.m., 38-year-old Marcus McDade was fatally shot outside his residence on Pliny Street in Hartford, Connecticut. He sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his chest and leg and was pronounced dead at St. Francis Hospital.
