On May 28, 2006, 15-year-old Kerry B. Foster Jr., affectionately known as "KJ," was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting on Clark Street in Hartford, Connecticut. Kerry and his 14-year-old friend, Cinque Sutherland, were standing on the street corner when a car approached, and multiple shots were fired.
