On March 17, 2017, 15-year-old Keon Huff Jr. was found deceased in the hallway of a residential building at 393 Garden Street in Hartford, Connecticut. He had sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident marked the city's eighth homicide of the year.
