On the night of May 19, 2022, 25-year-old Daryl Walker of Bloomfield, Connecticut, was fatally shot in Hartford. The incident began around 10 p.m. when Hartford police responded to a ShotSpotter activation on Zion Street. As officers approached the area, they observed a vehicle speeding on Ward Street.
