In the early hours of Sunday, August 6, 2023, the life of 24-year-old Jordan Phipps of Bloomfield, a Black male, was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire in Hartford, Connecticut. The incident unfolded at approximately 12:26 a.m. when police were alerted to multiple gunshots at 675 Wethersfield Avenue.
